New Executive Director at Independent Booksellers Consortium

Elizabeth Bogner has been hired as the new executive director of the Independent Booksellers Consortium, an invitation-only group of 27 of some of the most influential independent bookstores in the United States. 

Bogner has worked as a bookseller in California and New York, served as publisher liaison for the American Booksellers Association, and had roles at various publishing houses including Bantam Doubleday Dell, Serpent's Tail, Harcourt Brace and Simon & Schuster. More recently, she has worked as a freelance publishing consultant. She takes over the part-time position from Lori Tucker-Carlson, who held that position for 18 years.
