MPIBA Adds Two New Staff

The Mountains & Plains Independent Booksellers Association has hired Jeremy Ellis, most recently of Interabang Books in Dallas, for the new position of marketing and communications manager. He begins August 13. MPIBA has also hired Kelsey Myers, who has previous experience at Old Firehouse Books in Fort Collins, Co., to the position of operations manager, replacing long-serving operations manager Kathy Keel, who will be leaving after a period of transition this fall. The year of 2018 has been a year of change for the organization, which also hired a new executive director, Heather Duncan, in January.
