S&S Signs Woodward for Trump Book

Simon & Schuster will publish Fear: Trump in the White House, by Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist and bestselling author Bob Woodward, on September 11, 2018, it was announced today.

Woodward is an associate editor at the Washington Post, where he has worked for 47 years, and where he was co-awarded two Pulitzer Prizes—first for the Post’s coverage of the Watergate scandal with Carl Bernstein, and second in 2003 as the lead reporter for coverage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Fear is Woodward’s 19th book with Simon & Schuster, and world rights were acquired by Alice Mayhew, v-p and editorial director of the Simon & Schuster imprint, in all formats. Woodward was represented by Robert B. Barnett of Williams & Connolly. The book will also be published by Simon & Schuster’s international companies in Australia, Canada, India, and the United Kingdom, and in audiobook by Simon & Schuster Audio.
