Whiting Literary Magazine Prize Expands
Last year, the Whiting Foundation announced the creation of the Whiting Literary Magazine Prizes, a grant founded to acknowledge, reward, and encourage literary magazines. (The inaugural recipients of the Whiting Literary Magazine Prizes were A Public Space, Fence, and Words without Borders.)
This year, the prizes have expanded from three to five categories. In addition to print prizes for medium-sized and smaller magazines, as well as the digital prize, this year's prizes will include a print development grant for a magazine with a budget of less than $50,000 and a digital development grant for a magazine with a budget of less than $15,000.
