GCP Nabs New Novel by 'Hannibal' Author

Thomas Harris, the bestselling author of Silence and the Lambs and Hannibal, is bringing his first standalone thriller since 1975’s Black Sunday to Grand Central Publishing (GCP). The new book is slated for publication in hardcover and e-book editions on May 21, 2019, while narration for the simultaneous Hachette Audio publication will be performed by Harris himself.

The title and cover for the book will be revealed this fall, according to the publisher.

GCP’s senior v-p and publisher Ben Sevier bought world rights, excluding the U.K., from Morton Janklow of Janklow & Nesbit Literary Agency.

William Heinemann will publish the book in the U.K.
