BIGNY February Event to Focus On M&A
The Book Industry Guild of New York will hold an event focusing on mergers and acquisitions on February 21, 2019. Part of BIGNY's monthly event series, the event will be an informative session on the merger and acquisition landscape of the publishing industry, which has seen dramatic changes in the last 12 months, with activity ramping up and little evidence of a slow down in sight. The discussion will include candid conversation about value drivers when companies evaluate a prospective purchase and will define one of the most mysterious words in the M&A dictionary: “synergy.” It will be led by two experts, investment bankers David Lamb and Robin Warner.
The BIGNY session will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, 231 West 54th Street in New York. The speaking session will begin at 6:15 pm; a professional networking event will start at 5:15 pm.
