HarperOne Announces Marketing Dept. Changes

Aly Mostel will join HarperOne on April 18 as director of marketing, reporting to HarperOne v-p and associate publisher Laina Adler. In addition, Julia Kent has been promoted to associate director of marketing at HarperOne, and Carolyn Davidson has been promoted to marketing coordinator at the imprint.

Mostel was most recently a marketing consultant on projects for HarperOne, Chronicle Books, and Ten Speed Press, and before that served as director of communications at Rodale. Mostel will oversee HarperOne’s frontlist and backlist marketing initiatives, with a focus on continued brand growth for properties including Gary John Bishop, Kim Krans’s The Wild Unknown, C. S. Lewis, and Paulo Coelho, in addition to establishing new brands. She will be based in San Francisco.
