Riverhead to Pub Nick Hornby's 'State of the Union'

Nick Hornby, the author of High Fidelity and About a Boy, is bringing the "literary companion" to his comedy television series, State of the Union, to Riverhead Books, where it's slated for publication on May 7. The ten-chapter book depicts the relationship of a couple via their conversations at a pub and before going to couple's therapy, according to the publisher. The TV series stars Chris O’Dowd and Rosamund Pike, and it will premiere on the Sundance channel on May 6.
