Book & Journalism Award Winners Announced

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights announced the 2019 recipients of its 2019 Book & Journalism Awards on Monday, which is World Press Day. The awards cover 13 categories including high school and college print, broadcast, international, photography, new media, cartoon journalism and more.

Among the winners is Shane Bauer, author of American Prison (Penguin Press), which won the Book Award. For a full list of the winners, click here. The winners will all be honored at a ceremony on Thursday, May 23 at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.
