Harris Takes Helm from Evans at Evan-Moor

Evan-Moor Educational Publishers, the publisher of supplemental educational materials and digital resources for the PreK-8th grade market, has named Judy L. Harris interim president and CEO, effective today. Evan-Moor cofounder and CEO Bill Evans will retire from those positions concurrently.

Previously, Harris served as CEO of Carson Dellosa Publishing, where she was recruited to reposition the business from a traditional supplemental publisher for the PreK–8th grade market into an interactive digital resource for the school and home markets. Harris also served as CEO of Smarterville and president and CEO of educational media for PRIMEDIA, which included Channel One Network and Films Media Group. Harris has held senior executive positions with companies including PBS Businesses, Discovery Communication Networks, and Crayola Company. She has served on Evan-Moor’s Board of Directors since 2015. 

Evan-Moor is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lincoln Learning Solutions, a nonprofit organization based in Rochester, Pa.
