A Wave Blue World, Diamond Ink Graphic Novel Distribution Deal

A Wave Blue World, an independent graphic novel publisher, has reached an exclusive deal with Diamond Comics Distributors to distribute its comics in direct market comics shops, and with Diamond Book Distributors to deliver AWBW’s graphic novels in the book trade.

The distribution deal will begin with the release of two AWBW titles. Mezo vol. 1: Rise of the Tzalekuhl by Tyler Chin-Tanner (American Terrorist), Val Rodrigues (Deep Roots) & Josh Zingerman (FX’s Archer), an epic story of an ancient civilization on the verge of war, which will be released in the direct market on December 18 and the bookstore market on January 7. And Dead Legends by James Maddox (Metaphorical Her) & Gavin Smith (The Accelerators), the story of the combatants in a tournament of a death, which will also be released in the direct market in December and in the book market in January.

AWBW was founded in 2005 by Tyler and Wendy Chin-Tanner and specializes in publishing graphic novels, comics anthologies, and art books.

A Wave Blue World Editorial Director Joseph Illidge said “It’s a perfect time for our stories to be available in bookstores. In addition to our backlist, the new titles we’re developing for A Wave Blue World’s future highlight the creative ideas and talented writers and artists ready to grow the audience and industry of graphic novels."
