Reines Wins Tufts Award

Ariana Reines has won the 2020 Kingsley Tufts Award for A Sand Book (Tin House Books). The prize, which is presented by Claremont Graduate University, includes an honorarium of $100,000, and is the world's largest monetary prize for a poetry collection. It is awarded yearly to a mid-career poet for a single book-length work. Previous winners include Dawn Lundy Martin, Patricia Smith, Ross Gay, and D.A. Powell.
