Mariko Tamaki To Write DC’s Wonder Woman Series

Beginning in June acclaimed comics writer and novelist Mariko Tamaki will take over writing DC’s twice-monthly Wonder Woman comics series.

The series begins on June 10 with Woman Woman #759 which will be written by Tamaki with art by Mikel Janin, cover art by David Marquez and a variant cover by Jim Lee and Scott Williams.

In this new story, princess Diana is dealing with her life in the aftermath of battle with the Four Horsewomen and learning to navigate the treachery of Man’s World. A familiar threat is preparing to strike Wonder Woman.

Tamaki is the co-creator with Jillian Tamaki of the acclaimed graphic novels Skim and This One Summer; in addition she is the author of such celebrated graphic novels as Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up with Me, with artist Rosemary Valero-O’Connell and Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass with artist Steve Pugh.
