Bolton Book Sales Top 780,000 in First Week
Questions about the interest in John Bolton’s The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir were answered this morning by the announcement from publisher Simon & Schuster that the book sold more than 780,000 copies across all formats in its first week on sale. S&S has gone back to press for an 11th printing, which will bring the number of hardcovers in print to 1 million.
Jonathan Karp, CEO and publisher of S&S, said the publisher expects The Room Where it Happened to be at the top of the bestseller lists in the U.K, Australia, and Canada, as well as in the U.S. “The public clearly is fascinated in what Bolton has to say in this election year, and we expect the curiosity to continue,” Karp said.
