Lit Orgs, Publishers Get $50K from the NEA

Several literary organizations and publishers have been awarded $50,000 grants from the National Endowment for the Arts as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The money has been earmarked to combat job losses and hardship related to the spread of Covid-19. The publishers given the grants include Deep Vellum Publishing, the Cave Canem Foundation, Hub City Writers Project, Milkweed Editions, the National Book Foundation, Nightboat Books, Words Without Borders, One Story, Sarabande Books and 826NYC, among others.
