New Audiobooks Present Hollywood History
Oasis Family Media, parent company of Oasis Audio, is launching Hollywoodland Audiobooks, a new imprint focusing on personalities and Hollywood history from 1913 to 1969.
The first release will be Making of Casablanca by Aljean Harmetz. It will be released on September 8 and will be narrated by Scott Brick. Other forthcoming titles for October include Myrna Loy: Being & Becoming, by James Kotsilibas and Myrna Loy, and The Thin Man: Murder Over Cocktails by Charles Tranberg. Both titles are narrated by Holly Palance.
“I want to tell the stories that dig beyond the surface of icons,” said Steve Smith, president of Oasis Family Media. “We’re unearthing the layers of true stories that built the classic films and stars you might think you already know.”
