New Advisory Board at PSU Pub Program

The Book Publishing Graduate Program at Portland State University has launched an advisory board of industry professionals to guide the program’s direction and curriculum. The advisory board members for the 2020-21 academic year are as follows:

  • Leah Altman, Development Manager at the Native Arts & Culture Foundation
  • Porscha Burke, Senior Editor and Publishing Manager at Penguin Random House
  • Michele Cobb, Partner at Forté Business Consulting
  • Seth Dellon, Director of Strategic Development at Publishers Weekly
  • Brian O’Leary, Executive Director at the Book Industry Study Group
  • DongWon Song, Literary Agent at Howard Morhaim Literary Agency

The PSU Book Publishing Graduate Program was founded in 2001 and is focused on experiential, hands-on learning through the entirely student-run publishing company Ooligan Press. Each year, approximately 60 students manage the press together, publishing 4 titles a year.
