Peter Osnos Launches Platform Books

Publishing industry veteran Peter Osnos is launching Platform Books LLC, a new imprint he has established with his wife, Susan Sherer Osnos. Sales and distribution are being handled by Two Rivers Distribution, an Ingram Content Group brand.

Osnos is best known to the publishing industry as an editor and publisher at Random House and Perseus and the founder of PublicAffairs. Platform's first book will be An Especially Good View Watching History Happen by Osnos himself. It will be a reported memoir covering Osnos' half century in journalism and publishing. It will be published in May next year, and Paul Golob, formerly of Henry Holt, and Lisa Kaufman, formerly of PublicAffairs, will serve as its editors as part of their freelance portfolios.
