U.K. Consultant Martyn Daniels Dies at 68

U.K publishing consultant Martyn Daniels died December 18 of a heart attack. He was 68. Daniels first became involved in the book trade as director of strategic development at software specialist Vista. He was instrumental in the creation of the PubEasy and Batch services. He also worked for Value Chain International, and as a non-executive director of Bibliophile Ltd and of Haven Books. He set up the Opus 57 consultancy in 2012, and in recent years also devoted himself to painting.
