Lin Wins $25,000 L.D. and LaVerne Harrell Clark Fiction Prize

Chia-Chia Lin's novel The Unpassing (FSG) won the 2020 L.D. and LaVerne Harrell Clark Fiction Prize, which is administered by the English department of Texas State University in San Marcos, Tx. The author receives $25,000. 

The prize was established in 2016 and is designed to recognize an exceptional, recently-published book-length work of fiction in celebration of the Clarks’ lifelong contributions to, and love for, literature and the arts.

Runners-up for this year's prize were Sabrina & Corina by Kali Fajardo-Anstine (One World) and Where Reasons End by Yiyun Li (Random House).
