Sterling, Hachette Partner on Audio Program

Sterling Publishing has partnered with Hachette Audio to produce, sell, and distribute digital audiobook editions of select titles. Heading up the audio program at Sterling is Emily Meehan, chief creative officer and publisher of Sterling Books. She will work with Hachette Audio’s longtime publisher and senior v-p Anthony Goff, who negotiated the deal for Hachette Book Group. Sterling Audio will launch its first three titles in Spring 2021, all based on Spark Notes Audio's No Fear Shakespeare line, beginning with the Romeo and Juliet on March 23. Macbeth and Hamlet will follow in April and May, respectively. The partnership is expected to release regular seasonal adaptations.
