Emily Stokes Named Editor of 'Paris Review'

Emily Stokes has been appointed the next editor of the Paris Review, succeeding Emily Nemens, who stepped down earlier this year. Stokes will be the sixth editor in the 68-year history of the magazine. She comes to the Review from the New Yorker, where she has been a senior editor since 2018. She previously worked as an editor at T: The New York Times Style MagazineHarper’s Magazine, and the Financial Times.
