NYRB, Dorothy Partner on Distribution

Dorothy, a Publishing Project, the St. Louis, Mo.–based feminist publisher, has entered a new distribution partnership with New York Review Books effective February 1 of next year. Dorothy’s titles will be distributed and sold by NYRB’s distributor, Penguin Random House Publisher Services, and will appear in the NYRB catalog; Dorothy will otherwise, the two publishers said in a press release, "remain an autonomous business with its own editorial, marketing, and publicity." Dorothy, which traditionally publishes two books each fall, will postpone this year's titles until next spring. Those books are Cristina Rivera Garza's New and Selected Stories and Caren Beilin's novel Revenge of the Scapegoat.
