Duke, DUP Workers Union at Impasse

After announcing their intention to unionize earlier this year, workers at Duke University Press filed for a National Labor Relations Board election in May, which was held beginning in June. Now, Duke University and its press have filed objections to the election with the NLRB in an attempt to request a new election at a later date. The Duke University Press Workers Union, which cited an "overwhelming 96% turnout rate of eligible voters," has hit back in an open letter to Duke and Duke University Press management.
