Robinson Joins Tapas Media
Chris Robinson, a writer, producer, and former editor at Marvel Comics, has been appointed to the newly created position of exclusives partnerships manager at Tapas Media, a mobile comics platform.
In his new role Robinson will be focused on bringing new talented creators and webcomics to the Tapas platform and advocating for them and their content. Robinson will be based in Tapas’ Los Angeles offices.
Robinson said he was “delighted to add my voice to the wealth of talent at Tapas. I look forward to supporting and growing the creator community in every way possible.”
At Marvel Robinson edited such artists as Ta-Nehisi Coates (Black Panther), Jonathan Hickmen (X-Men), the Grand Design line of graphic novels, Ghost Rider, Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur, the Marvel Hip-Hop variant program and the expansion of the Marvel’s Voices series.
Tapas community manager Isabell Castro said “As an experienced comic editor, he will support our talented, diverse community and help them share their stories with our growing audience, as well as further their career as up and coming creators.”
