Saga Egmont Acquires Germany's Audiobuch Verlag

Denmark's Saga Egmont, the digital publishing arm of Copenhagen-based Lindhardt og Ringhof, has acquired German audiobook publisher Audiobuch Verlag oHG. The acquisition brings a further 5,000 German-language titles to the company, which now claims to publish more than 80,000 titles in 30 languages. This is the latest in a string of acquisitions over the last several years, which included the purchase of Spain's Audiomol and Sonolibros in 2020 and Mexico's Mexico’s Cuántica Activa Audiolibros in February this year.
