2021 B&N Book of the Year Finalists Announced

Barnes & Noble has announced eight finalists for its 2021 Book of the Year distinction, which is voted on annually by B&N booksellers. Last year's Book of the Year was World of Wonders. The 2021 finalists are: 

  • Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr
  • The Sentence by Louise Erdrich 
  • Pizza Czar: Recipes and Know-How from a World-Traveling Pizza Chef by Anthony Falco
  • Together by Luke Adam Hawker
  • Under the Whispering Door by T.J. Kune
  • The Lyrics: 1956 to the Present by Paul McCartney
  • The 1619 Project: Born on the Water by Nikole Hannah-Jones and Renée Watson 
  • Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner
