Guggenheim Museum Launches Open Call for Poet-in-Residence

The Guggenheim is collaborating with the Academy of American Poets to establish a year-long poet-in-residence position beginning in January 2022. The selected poet will work with the Guggenheim’s public programs department and receive a $20,000 honorarium. The panelists who will select the 2022 poet-in-residence will be announced later this month.

Candidates for the poet-in-residence position must be at least 21 years old and have published a collection of poetry or have a history of spoken word performances. Applications will be accepted online through 11:59pm EST on December 5, 2021 for 2022.
