Lightning Source Sharjah Opens in UAE

Ingram Content Group's Lightning Source and the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) have opened a long-anticipated print-on-demand facility in the Sharjah Publishing City (SPC) Free Zone, the 40,000-sq.-m facility housing distributors, printers, publishers, and translators from nations including the U.S., U.K., India, and China. The joint venture is one of the first large-scale POD operations in the Middle East, and will provide POD and distribution services for publishers and retail channels across the Middle East and Gulf regions.
