Dean Koontz Inks Five-Book Deal with Amazon Publishing

In a new deal for world English rights, Amazon Publishing Editorial director Gracie Doyle has acquired five new books from author Dean Koontz for publication under the Thomas & Mercer imprint. The first book in the deal, The House at the End of the World, will be released in January 2023.
Koontz has previously published four novels with Thomas & Mercer, as well as two collections and one short story with the Amazon Original Stories imprint. His fifth novel, The Big Dark Sky, which was the final book in his previous deal with Amazon, will publish in July.
Koontz is represented by Richard Pine and Kimberly Witherspoon of InkWell Management, Richard Heller of Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz, and Angela Cheng Caplan of Cheng Caplan Company.
