Comixology Originals, Becco Giallo Release Five Graphic Bios

Comixology Originals is partnering with Italian comics publisher Becco Giallo to release digital editions of five historical graphic biographies in English translation on the lives of Mary Shelley, Socrates, Nikola Tesla, Vincent Van Gogh, and Virginia Woolf.

The works included Mary Shelly: The Eternal Dream by Alessandro Di Virgilio, with art by Manuela Santoni; Socrates by Francesco Barilli, with art by Alessandro Ranghiasci; Nikola Tesla by Sergio Rossi, with art by Giovanni Scarduelli; Vincent Van Gogh: Sadness Will Last Forever by Francesco Barilli, with art by Sakka (aka Roberta Sacchi); and Virginia Woolf, written and drawn by Liuba Gabriele. All translations from the Italian are by Luci Lenzi.

The books will be released simultaneously March 28, 2023 via Amazon’s Comixology Originals exclusive digital content line. Founded in 2005, Becco Giallo publishes about 45 graphic titles a year, from graphic journalism and books for children to graphic fiction, biographies, and webcomics.
