Fatimah Asghar Wins Carol Shields Prize

Fatimah Asghar is the winner of the 2023 Carol Shields Prize for Fiction for her debut novel When We Were Sisters (One World). 

The Carol Shields Prize, founded in 2020, is one of the largest English-language literary awards for women and nonbinary writers in the U.S. and Canada, with a purse of $150,000.
