Lee Wind Promoted to Chief Content Officer of IBPA

Lee Wind has been promoted to chief content officer of the Independent Book Publishers Association.

Wind has been at IBPA for six years, most recently as director of education and programs. In that role he initiated partnerships with such organizations as Binc and We Need Diverse Books. In his new role as CCO, Wind will lead IBPA's content strategy across its programs and events, including the annual IBPA Publishing University.

“I’m excited to further empower IBPA members in this new position.” Wind said in a statement. “The plan is to add more value for IBPA members, keep innovating our education and programs, and to always remember to lead with my heart—our members are passionate about their publishing programs, and all of us on staff continue to be passionate about empowering them.”
