Hallmark Channel to Debut Karen Kingsbury’s ‘The Bridge’

The Hallmark Channel is turning Karen Kingsbury’s bestselling The Bridge (Howard, 2012) into a movie this December.

The Bridge, which has sold over 300,000 copies, is a Christmas love story set against the demise of the American bookstore. The film adaptation will star Katie Findlay, Wyatt Nash, and Ted McGinley. The screenplay was written by Jamie Pachino.

In addition to The Bridge, Hallmark is also adapting Kingsbury's A Time to Dance (Thomas Nelson, 2001) into a made-for-TV-movie slated for December.
