Julia Elliott Promoted to Senior Editor at William Morrow
Julia Elliott has been promoted to senior editor at William Morrow.
Elliott joined William Morrow in 2017 as an editorial assistant. She was promoted to assistant editor in 2018, associate editor in 2021, and editor in 2022.
During her tenure, Elliott has built a list that includes Thea Guanzon’s The Hurricane Wars, Hannah Kaner’s Godkiller; and B.R. Myers’s A Dreadful Splendor. Her upcoming projects include I Hope This Finds You Well by Natalie Sue; a literary speculative novel by Nnedi Okorafor; Brigid Kemmerer’s adult debut romantasy Warrior Princess Assassin; and Bolu Babalola’s sequel to Honey and Spice; among others.
Elliott is also the editorial lead for the Agatha Christie estate and recently expanded the brand with such new titles as the anthology Marple: Twelve New Mysteries and the graphic novel Murder on the Orient Express.
