Brookline Booksmith, Mosab Abu Toha to Host Benefit for Gaza Libraries

Boston bookstore Brookline Booksmith and Palestinian poet Mosab Abu Toha will host a virtual reading on January 6 to benefit the Edward Said Libraries in Gaza. Featured readers include Kaveh Akbar, Jorie Graham, Fanny Howe, Ha Jin, Ilya Kaminsky, Eileen Myles, and Viet Thanh Nguyen.

The virtual event will stream for free on YouTube, with attendees encouraged to make donations through Brookline Booksmith's website. All funds will be used to purchase and ship books to the Edward Said Libraries. Brookline Booksmith will also run a book donation drive through its website.
