CALIBA Extends Executive Director Search

The California Independent Booksellers Alliance has reopened its search for a new executive director. As part of the process, CALIBA has upped its salary range.

The association began the search for a single executive director in late November following the announcement that codirectors Kristin Rasmussen and Ann Seaton are leaving.

In announcement the reposting, the committee said while it has received “excellent” applications, it wants to ensure all potential candidates are aware of the opportunity since the original listing was posted shortly before the holidays, the busiest time of the year for booksellers.

The new salary offered is between $80,000 to $90,000. Candidates can email a cover letter and resume to calibaboard@caliballiance.org.
