Amistad to Publish Debut Novel by 50 Cent

Amistad will publish The Accomplice, the debut adult novel by Grammy Award–winning rapper 50 Cent, on September 3. The crime thriller is the first in a two-book deal with Amistad, an imprint of HarperCollins.
50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, is the author of several other books, including the self-help book Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter, published by Amistad in 2020; the workout book Formula 50, published by Avery in 2012; the YA novel Playground, published by Razorbill in 2011; and the memoir From Pieces to Weight, published by MTV Books in 2005.
From 2007 to 2011, he also coauthored a number of books, including several novels, for G-Unit Books, an imprint he launched in 2007 in partnership with MTV Books.
