IBPA Publishes 'Guide to Publishing Models and Author Pathways'

The Independent Book Publishers Association has published the IBPA Guide to Publishing Models and Author Pathways, a new document that “defines various publishing models, explains their characteristics, and provides information on which model might be most appropriate for authors seeking to be published.” The guide is intended, the organization wrote in a statement, to “provide guidance and transparency to publishers and authors in a rapidly evolving publishing landscape.” The IBPA will regularly update the document “to reflect new and emerging models,” it said in a release, “as the publishing industry continues to evolve.” The document can be viewed and downloaded here.
