Jenn Jensen and Eva Avery Launch Copilot Publishing
Eva Avery and Jenn Jensen have launched Copilot Publishing, a freelance editorial and marketing agency.
Avery will oversee the company's editorial services, including concept development, book coaching, developmental editing, subediting, ghostwriting, and coaching, while Jensen will spearhead its marketing services, which include social media, email strategy, book launch management, advertising campaigns, and author platform cultivation. Copilot also offers consulting and proposal development services.
Avery and Jensen both previously worked at HarperCollins and Chronicle Books, where they cofounded the Chronicle Prism imprint. Most recently, they served as the sales and marketing director and editorial director, respectively, at hybrid publisher Wonderwell, which shut down its publishing operations and laid off its staff earlier this year.
The duo has a combined 27 years of experience in publishing, having worked with such authors as Mark Manson, Deepak Chopra, Paulo Coelho, and John Lithgow.
