Doubleday to Publish New Nonfiction from John Grisham

Doubleday will publish John Grisham’s new nonfiction book Framed: Astonishing True Stories of Wrongful Convictions, written with Jim McCloskey, on October 8. The book is Grisham’s first nonfiction work since Doubleday published The Innocent Man in 2006, and an announced first printing of 1,500,000 copies has been set.

Grisham's publisher, Suzanne Herz, acquired U.S. rights from David Gernert at the Gernert Company. The book will be published simultaneously in hardcover and as an e-book by Doubleday, and in audio by Penguin Random House, and will be published in paperback by Vintage next year; Hodder and Stoughton will publish simultaneously in the UK.
