Mary Oliver's Papers, Plus Event for Emerging Poets, Land at Library of Congress

The papers of Mary Oliver have been donated to the Library of Congress by Bill and Amalie Reichblum, the executors of Oliver’s estate and members of the Library’s James Madison Council. The Reichblums have also created the Mary Oliver Memorial Event Fund for Emerging Poets, which  "establishes a new annual memorial event at the Library, honoring Oliver’s generosity as an artist who mentored young poets," the Library said in a statement. U.S. Poet Laureate Ada Limón will lead the inaugural Mary Oliver Memorial Event, which will also feature poets Molly McCully Brown, Jake Skeets, Analicia Sotelo and Paul Tran.
