PW Presents Webcast on M.F.A. Application Process

Tomorrow, PW will present a sponsored Webcast on the M.F.A. application process, extending this week's M.F.A. Update print and online supplement in this live discussion. Craig Teicher, PW's director of Digital Operations and an instructor in several M.F.A. programs, will be joined by Charles Alexander, director of the M.F.A. Program in Creative Writing at the University of Houston – Victoria, and Tony Trigilio, professor and interim chair at Columbia College Chicago, to discuss these programs and what creative writing departments are seeking in general from applicants.

With the continued proliferation of new creative writing programs at the graduate and undergraduate level, M.F.A. admissions are becoming increasingly competitive. This Webcast will help prospective M.F.A. understand the various aspects of the application, pick the programs best suited to them, and more.
