Association of American University Presses Open D.C. Office

The Association of American University Presses (AAUP) announced the opening of its first office in Washington, D.C. The Association is undertaking this expanded presence in order to further its strategic goals of advocacy and collaboration with stakeholders in higher education, copyright, freedom of expression, scholarly communications, the humanities, and global policy. 

Peter Berkery, AAUP executive director, will be the Association’s main representative in Washington, and will divide his time between D.C., New York City, and a regular travel schedule.
