Former North Korean Prisoner Kenneth Bae Shares Story

Kenneth Bae, the Christian missionary who became the longest-held U.S. prisoner in North Korean history, is breaking his silence on the life-changing ordeal in the book from W Publishing Group, Not Forgotten: The True Story of my Imprisonment in North Korea. The book will be available in May 2016.

While working as a travel agent in North Korea, Bae was convicted on charges of planning to overthrow the North Korean government in April 2013. He was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment. He was released on November 8, 2014.

Not Forgotten will cover Bae's terrifying experience under one of the most repressive and abusive governments in the world, from his surprise arrest to a U.S. government-negotiated release.
