S&S to Publish Book by Greta Van Susteren

Simon & Schuster acquired Greta Van Susteren’s yet-to-be titled guide to social media practices, scheduled to publish in Fall 2017. According to a press release, the book covers topics from how to get attention and engage an audience to deflecting the cranks and tracking down the best conversations, and it is aimed at users of all levels of internet savviness.

Priscilla Painton, v-p and executive editor at Simon & Schuster, acquired world, audio, and first serial rights from Robert Barnett of Williams & Connolly. 

Van Susteren joined Fox News Channel in January 2002 as the host of the prime-time news and interview program On the Record with Greta Van Susteren, which launched in February 2002. In addition to Van Susteren's over 600,000 Twitter followers and 750,000 fans on Facebook, On the Record is currently the highest rated cable news program in the 7 p.m. timeslot.
