MetaComet and Firebrand Launch New API

Firebrand Technologies and MetaComet Systems have partnered to release a turnkey application programming interface (API) that consolidates title, price, and ISBN data across publishing software tools from each company. 

The collaborative API facilitates the transfer of data between Firebrand’s Title Management and MetaComet’s Royalty Tracker platforms, allowing users to create their titles and ISBNs in Title Management and transfer the data into MetaComet’s Royalty Tracker, which automates the calculation and payouts of royalties to authors.

“Firebrand is the ideal partner in MetaComet’s mission to be the world leader in addressing inefficiency, risk, and stress in the process of royalty management and throughout the publishing industry,” David Marlin, president of MetaComet Systems, said in a statement.

The Firebrand/MetaComet API is now available. Setup requires a subscription to the Strategic of Comprehensive level of Royalty Tracker as well as one of Firebrand’s Eloquence on Demand, Title Management Enterprise, or Title Management Lite solutions.
