HBG Launches In-House AAPI Initiative

Hachette Book Group’s Asian and Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group has launched a new initiative to “foster collaboration across publishing houses and celebrate authors that champion AAPI culture,” per the publisher.

The initiative will kick off on November 12 at HBG’s New York office with a conversation with Min Jin Lee, author of Pachinko; Carrie Bloxson, chief people officer at HBG and SVP of culture and diversity, equity, and inclusion at Hachette UK; and Lauren Sum and Oriel Voegele, AAPI Employee Resource Group leads at HBG. The discussion will be moderated by Lucy Yu, owner of Yu & Me Books in Chinatown.

To RSVP for the event, contact Taylor Norton at taylor.norton@hbgusa.com.
