'Los Angeles Review of Books' Receives $100,000 Grant from LA2050

'The Los Angeles Review of Books' ('LARB') received a $100,000 grant from the My LA2050 Grants Challenge, an initiative launched in 2011 by the Goldhirsh Foundation that grants $1,000,000 to Los Angeles-based initiatives.

'LARB' will use the money granted from this challenge to bring attention to L.A. writers and artists. The non-profit magazine aims to increase artists' viability, sustain their creativity, and provides the infrastructure necessary to give L.A. writers and artists the exposure they need to compete.

LA2050 is a community-guided initiative driving and tracking progress toward a shared vision for the future of Los Angeles.
