BISG Opens Board Nominations

The Book Industry Study Group (BISG) has opened a call for nominations to its governing board of directors, which consists of 14 total members. Nominations are currently being accepted for four two-year terms across four of BISG’s six member categories, including publisher, distributor, retailer, and library seats.

Any BISG member in good standing is eligible to serve on the Board, and may self-nominate themselves. The board’s nominating committee will recommend a slate of candidates for consideration at an annual meeting, held virtually on April 30, 2026. The new two-year terms will begin on July 1, 2026. 

Nominations involve completing an online survey, which will remain open until December 12.
